It is a long long time since I've seen a St Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin. I remember the big businessess had floats and there were Piped Bands, Irish Dancing schools and of course Bands and Cheerleaders from the USA. Well all that has changed now. No more floats from Aer Lingus or Bord Bainne etc. Instead there were giant insects, people dressed as eggs and only a few Piped Bands. Dan and I cracked up when we saw the band from NCSU (North Carolina State University).
The parade nowadays is more....... multicultural and colorful but it is still enjoyable. Guess that is the way Dublin is now.
