Dan the Wine Maker

This year we decided to try our hand at growing grapes. We bought two Syrah grape plants just after Christmas so after spending the Winter in our garage we brought them outside since the weather has been so nice.
I just noticed the other day that there are grapes on each plant. The plants are still in their pots so we'll leave them alone for now since they are doing so well.

I doubt we'll be making wine this year but it is fun to plant something and watch it grow.
I held a Sharpie pen behind them so you could see how small the grapes are.

Springtime

Pine pollen and allergies aside, I do love the Spring.

It is that time of year again!

Yes it is Allergy season and I hate it. There is so much pine pollen around here that everything is covered in yellow dust. Just take a look at my car.

Here is the car after we washed it down. Mind you, next morning it was a bad.
